If you are on a tight budget or too far away from London to make an in-person design consultation an option, distance design is a fun and affordable way to get expert advice to help you create the room you’ve always wanted for your child. By communicating through email and telephone and implementing the plan yourself, the process allows you to be actively involved in the design without incurring full design & installation fees.Distance design works if you’re decorating your child’s room from scratch, or if you’re just looking to restyle your child’s space. It’s perfect if you need ideas and inspiration to kick-start your project, or if you have plenty of ideas but need a hand pulling them all together.

How does distance design work?

It‘s easy. You answer a few questions about your (and your child’s) wishes, the space itself, and of course your budget. With the help of simple instructions, you’ll be asked to note down some measurements and photograph the room. Once you’ve emailed everything back to me, we’ll have a chat to make sure I understand your needs and taste correctly.

Now I get to work! Throughout the process I’ll be in touch with any questions to make sure the design is going in the right direction. You’ll receive your bespoke room design, including an inspiration board, floor plan, and source list with convenient shopping links 3-4 weeks later. That way you can order everything directly online, saving you hours of research and shopping around.

Any questions you may have about your design will be answered in a follow-up phone consultation, so you’ll be ready to transform that room.
